Those numbers work together. A wider setup can move closer to the control arm on the inside and farther toward the fender on the outside. Rub often appears at the liner edge, mud flap bracket, crash bar area, or fender lip when the truck turns.
Compare the new spec against the tire's approved rim-width range and the truck's known clearance limits. Verify offset and backspacing together. Brake calipers, hub bore, lug pattern, center caps, valve stem style, TPMS fit, and load rating still matter. A package can match the advertised diameter and still be wrong for the selected truck.
Write down current diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern, and tire size when those numbers are known. Then check inner clearance, outer poke, brake space, shoulder shape, center-bore detail, load rating, and return terms before placing the order. Confirm the fitment notes when a listing hides bore details or load rating. A seller that cannot provide geometry leaves too much for the buyer to guess.
